Shipping Policy

We offer a wide variety of shipping methods that allow you, the customer, to choose the method best suited to your needs and budget.

Please note that in-transit times and delivery dates are best faith estimates provided by the respective carriers; we cannot be responsible for carrier or weather related delays. In-transit times are business days. Product availability may postpone shipping dates.

Most orders ship within two business days. We will notify you if there will be any delay longer than 4 days.



Domestic Shipping

We use the United States Postal Service as our main shipping carrier. 

Free & Standard Shipping are usually sent USPS First Class/Priority Mail for smaller parcels. Larger, heavier parcels are primarily shipped via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery or UPS. 

Most orders ship from our main store in Ozone Park in Queens, New York. 

USPS First Class/Priority Mail takes 2 to 5 business days. Delivery 7 days a week.

FedEx Ground/Home Delivery and UPS takes 1 to 6 business days. Delivery 7 days a week.

FedEx 2-Day requests made between Monday-Wednesday will be fulfilled and delivered within 2-day frame.

  • However, FedEx 2-Day does not deliver on weekends (Saturdays & Sundays)
  • Orders placed after Wednesday at 8pm will have extra transit time due to Carrier’s methods.

Please select your preferred shipping method upon checkout. Our shipping fees are calculated on a flat rate basis, as well as free shipping for orders totaling $99.95 and over.

International shipping

House of Holiday currently is not shipping outside the United States, Canada & Puerto Rico. We are trying to develop better transit times and costs for both consumer and merchant. We are looking forward to expanding our reach to international customers that enjoy.

International shipments may have an additional delay of 3-4 business days prior to shipping.

 

Customs and Import Duties

(for buyers outside of the US):

  • Your order may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied by your country when your package reaches your country.
  • House of Holiday ships your package DDU, "duties and taxes unpaid," and does not collect the VAT, duties and/or taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If you do incur these additional charges, they must be rendered in order for your package to clear customs.
  • For more information regarding your country's custom policies, please contact your local customs office.

 

Shipping to PO Boxes, APO and FPO addresses

We happily ship to PO Boxes, APO, and FPO addresses.

Shipments will be shipped via FedEx SmartPost. For larger orders we strongly recommend using a street address instead of a PO Box as FedEx ground services would arrive faster.

When shipping to an APO or FPO address, please be sure that you leave the United States as the selected country for your APO or FPR order. 

We reserve the right to surcharge shipping charges for orders to PO boxes, APO, and FPO addresses over 5 lbs. in dimensional weight.

 

Special Shipping Offers:

Some items may offer free shipping, as other items will have additional shipping charges that will apply even if the remainder of the order qualifies for free shipping.

The free shipping for the qualifying item(s) will be automatically applied at checkout. Items in your order that are not qualified for free shipping will incur shipping charges, as calculated based upon weight, distance, and selected shipping method.
